EVEREST TREK (Solu Khumbu)
The Solu Khumbu is the homeland of the Sherpas who are famous as legendary mountain guides and climbers. The Solu Khumbu is also home to some of the highest mountains in the world - Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, and of course, Sagarmatha, or Mt. Everest, as it is better known. Dissected by turbulent rivers and terraced by farming, the highland valleys of Solu Khumbu offer some of the best high altitude trekking in Nepal. As the area is ringed by gigantic peaks, trekking here provides stunning close-up views of the mountains. Walking through the Sherpa villages of Namche Bazaar, Thame and Khumjung, trekkers can mingle with the cheerful, friendly Sherpas, explore the ancient Buddhist monasteries, and admire the rhododendron forests that bloom during spring time. The Lukla and Phaplu airstrips provide easy and quick access to this area, and the use of planes makes shorter and more varied treks possible. If treks involve the crossing of high passes or visits to the Gokyo lakes, trips will take three weeks or more. In addition, trekking peaks like Island Peak, Lobuje, and Pokalde Peak offer rewarding climbs that can be combined with regular treks to afford more adventure and excitement.

ANNAPURNA TREK
The Annapurna massif and its surrounding foothills offer one of most spectacular treks in the world. Justifiably, the Annapurna circuit has become renowned as one of the great walks of the world. Whilst the full circuit trek consisting of a 21-23 day walk is for the more adventurous with the appropriate physical condition and the necessary time on hand, the Annapurna area offers a multitude of shorter treks as well. Ranging from day hikes out of Pokhara to short treks of 3 to 4 days or excursions of a week or a fortnight, the Annapurna region provides endless possibilities for trekking. Whilst most trails are well-trodden and get fairly busy during the peak seasons, Mountain Experience endeavours to get away from crowded trails and inns and to provide alternative routes.

AROUND MANASLU TREK
This is one of the most spectacular treks in the Himalaya, comparable to the Annuparna circuit. However the trek around Manaslu touches unspoilt regions since it was off limits until recently. Now open to organized trekking parties only, the area offers a good mix of cultural diversity and fantastic mountain scenery. Starting at the Buri Gandak, the trek goes through the narrow gorge between the Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges, with sleep almost perpendicular sides. Passing through the Nupri valley, where the inhabitants appear Tibetan in look, speech and customs, the trail continues parallel to the Tibetan border, with sensational views of Manalsu North, Ngadi and Himalchuli peaks. Crossing the 16,000 ft )ca 5200 m) Larkey La pass, the trek descends to the Marsyangdi Valley with fantastic views of Himlung Himal, Annapurna range and other peaks

MUSTANG TREK (THE HIDDEN KINGDOM)
Often described as the hidden or lost Tibetan Kingdom, Nepal’s Mustang presents one of the last intact vestiges of Tibetan Buddhists, culture and lifestyle unchanged in centuries. Trekking to Mustang is a journey beyond the Himalaya, a journey to one of the most remote kingdoms on earth. Starting at Jomsom in the Kali Gandaki valley, the trek passes through a barren, desolate landscape carved deep by canyons, until the walled capita city of LoMonthang is reached. Filled by maze of narrow lanes and streets, the city presents a medieval setting with its ancient place, monasteries and temples. This is an amazing experience that allows one to step back in time. 15- 18 days.
