(Climbing Sardar)

Phurba was born in 1971 and lives in Khumjung. Phurba began by following in his Fathers footsteps as an expedition cook boy, where Russell first discovered him realizing that his potential was not being fully realized.

Phurba has now worked on many Himalayan Experience expeditions, has been to the summit of Everest 18 times, Cho Oyo 5 times, Manaslu twice, Ama Dablam twice, Lhotse once and Shishapangma once.

In 2007, he reached the top of the world three times in one season.

Phurba has climbed over 26  8000m summits - the most ever climbed by one person.

Dorjee Sonam was born in Phortse in 1981 and has been on 10 Himalayan Experience expeditions. He has summited Everest 14 times and Cho Oyo, Lhotse and Manaslu once each.

Lopsang Temba Sherpa, he is from Khumjung, has worked for Himalayan Experience on 32 expeditions over 15 years. He was born in 1968 and climbed to the summit of Everest eight times (seven times from the north side in Tibet and once from the south side).

 

 

(Trekking Sardar)

 

Lacchu is Himalayan Experience's head cook and trekking sardar of Mountain Experience. He was born in 1965 and lives in Kathmandu. He has been to the Base Camp of every 8,000 meter peak.
