| CHULU WEST (6, 250 M) – 22 DAY TREKKING PEAK |
Chulu west and Chulu central are best to be climbed from a base camp in a small valley north of Manang situated of the main trail near the Thorong La pass. Indeed somoe of the best vies of these peaks can be had from here.
From this camp you steep scree slope to a Col ( 4,900) on a subsidiary ridge that leads down from the main ridge. To the north of the Col you then climb 200 meters of snow slopes to the base of a rock band at an altitude of 5,100m,. the site for a possible high camp. Climb the rock band with some difficulty to the northwest shoulder if Chulu West (5,450m ), where another camp can be established or alternatively a camp can be placed on a snow plateau above at 5530 m. On the first ascent and several subsequent ascents, rope has been fixed on the rock band. From the plateau we continue up the progressively narrowing ridge to the summit (6,250m). Descend via the same route.

This is the most popular trekking peak in Nepal. From Dingboche the mountain is clearly seen as a pyramid of ice and rock. The mountain itself is the extention of the South Ridge of Ljotse Shar separated by a small col. The ridge rising to the south from this point leads to the summit of Island peak. Imja Tse provides some of the most spectacular scenery of the Khumbu region. From the summit you can see the giant mountains of Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Baruntse and Amadablam.

Lobuche East is an attractive summit with existing routs and new opportunities. Lobuche east is one of the hardest of the trekking peaks that commercial groups attempt. In the Everest region (Khumbu) only Kwangde and Kusum Kanguru are more difficult. Base camp is near a hidden lake at base of the Southwest face at 5,551m.

Mera Peak is one of the highest trekking peaks in Nepal. Despite its height and stunning location high above the valleys of the Himku and Hongu just south of the Khumbu (Everest) region of eastern Nepal. It is not a difficult climb and it is suitable for those with no prior climbing experience, provided they are fit and adventurous.
You fly from Kathmandu to Lukla. From here the route takes you over Zatrwa La (4,600m) and in to the Hinku Valley. Dense forests of pine and juniper soon open out onto the high ridges en route to the Mera La pass (5,415m) and high camp for the climb. The views from here are astounding, with a panorama that takes in Kanchenjunga, Chamlang, Makulu and Baruntse, Lhotes and Nuptse. From base camp the climb to Mera’s summit is not technically difficult. The glacier’s snow covered crevasses from the main danger. Progress is necessarily slow and careful. The summit views outdo even those from the pass and there is ample time to take photos before the descent to base camp. |

This trek explores the area immediately to the north of kathmandu an old caravan route between Nepal and Tibet. Whilst passing through Yak pastures you have the chance to gain an insight into the life and culture of the Sherpa, Buddhist villagers as well as the Tamang and Tibetan communities. There are superb views of Langtang Lirung(7,234 m) and Dorje Lhakpa (6966).
You follow the main trekking route up the floor of the valley and climb Yala,a pleasant 5,5oom viewpoint which provides very effective acclimatization. We then cross to the south side of the valley and ascend towards our main objective, the attractive snow peak of Naya kanga. |

| PISANG PEAK (6, 091m) – 26-DAY TREKKING PEAK |
Pisang rises from yak pastures in a uniform slope to the final summit pyramid, and undistinguished snow and ice cap. The peak has a lot of scope for exploration and pioneering. The whole of the western flank, which is guarded by a hanging flakier, offers a considerable challenge, which a traverse of the whole summit ridge is a superb possibility.
